Derya TM22
Re: Derya TM22
Bought one today. Couldn't resist the red. Now I will have to get out to a range, set up a scope and see how much fun I can have.

Re: Derya TM22
Looking forward to seeing your test results.
BTW, bulk Winchester 555 and bulk Remington Golden Bullets have shown EXCELLENT (the best) accuracy in several of my and in Gordo's '22's, which I found quite surprising.

Re: Derya TM22
I'll check out that ammo, Daryl. Thanks for the tip.
I have been looking at the CCI 45 grain suppressor ammo. It is listed at 1000 fps, so lots of power to eject from semi auto and it should be quieter that the regular velocity rounds. If the local guy has a 50 count, I may check it out along with the other usual suspects. I will probably buy 50 packs of as many as I can find in the 40 grain offerings to see how they perform.

Re: Derya TM22
Late reply on this one....
I am surprised to see your positive comments on the bulk Winchester 555 Daryl. Is that the 36 grain hollow point?
I had a box of those that I finally got around to shooting and they were horrible! First just looking at them, there were several that the hollow point was not centered in the bullet, I could not imagine how this was even possible! Another looked like it was not centered when it was pressed onto the brass and the slug was on at an angle. I took pictures of a few of them because I could not believe how outrageously horrible they were. It was a few years ago but if I find those pictures I will post them later.
Once I threw these obvious defects away I had more fail-to-fires with the rest of that box than with any other rimfire ammo that I have ever used.
I have intentionally avoided anything with a Winchester logo ever since.
Re: Derya TM22
Now THAT is interesting. The Winchester 555 ammo I have, has NONE of those issues. I bought it perhaps 15 years ago (a bunch) and the are indeed, the 36gr. @ 1,280fps on the box.
The bullet actually looks like the 40gr. Power Point, due to the large HP, yet are noted as being 36gr.
My Anschutz loves them & does quite well with the Remington Golden bullet as well.
2 other .22's, the modified Ruger 10/22 and my Dad's M60 Cooey he bought during the second war, do not like either of those bullets, but both love
the higher quality high Vel. hollow points and especially the Yellow Jacket Rems and WW Super X HP's and Power Points.

Re: Derya TM22
Just came back from range first time shooting. I’m getting MOA at 100 yards but not trying to hard also was using RWS rifle match. There was some failure to fire about 3 in 40 shots. I have done the drill and thread the hand guard mod. I have 10/22 subsonic springs. And have Dlask barrel. Makes for awesome package. Just for some tips us a bronze brush bend in L shape then with bolt open go back and forth in the chamber. Gunk gets caught there and impedes the cycling. I forgot to bring when I was at range. This helps %100 with FTF. I have done this with my 10/22 and no issues. 22 is very dirty and also the match ammo has wax. Looking for semi auto match ammo now.

....
Found them! I was just looking for something else and found the pictures that I referred to previously. They were the Winchester 222 package but I think they are the same ammo as the 555 package.
The one on the left is obviously squished, the one on the right does not show well in the picture, but the slug was canted on the casing.
