Happy March!

#1 Post by Rob27 »

What a difference a few warm days makes!
Feb 18 the snow was so high you could barely see the dog in the back yard and I was trying to find a place to pile the snow when clearing the driveway.

Two weeks later and the spring flowers are almost two inches high on the south side of the house

(they always pop up and then get frozen a few times each year, but still….)

So, with the warmer weather and rapidly melting snow here in Southern Ontario, thoughts are of course turning to knocking down some steel!

Only 4 weeks from this Saturday is the first Field Target match of the season in Hamilton on April 5th. Dust off those guns and track down your pellet pouches (and maybe a pair of long johns) 'cause it is getting close to FT season!

Over the next few weeks, I will be grinding the old paint off the Port Colborne targets and tuning them up so that they are pristine and ready for our first match at Port on April 26. In between the Hamilton and Port Colborne dates is the season opener at Grenville on April 19th.

Looking forward to seeing all the new folks and the grizzled veterans as we get back into the fun.

:drinkers: Yes incredible snows this year
I had an outdoor chair in the backyard--once it was completely covered under snow--including the back!!
Now all the legs behind seat still under snow...
I tried to go hunting at Feb 22ed, and cannot even walk into the woods as the snow is all the way over my waist....
A Bunch of
495fps Springers/CO2/PCP
PAL Rated plinkers and target rifles
Finally get my PAL after 1 year waiting

Took this on Saturday. Spring is sprung - maybe.
