I am having a problem with any pellet that I try staying inside the plastic mags of my PT-85 when I am shooting it.
It seems that the very strong blow-back is shaking the pellets out of the individual pellet wells and causing the rotary mags to get jammed up and preventing the pistol from operating properly.
This problem occurs on both of the rotary mags that I have and with all of the many different pellets that I have tried...
Does anyone have any idea if the blow-back can be either reduced substantially or eliminated entirely (and still have it function properly; of course)?
Have you tried seating the pellets? I always use a 1/4" audio jack to push pellets into rotary mags to help smooth out the cycling. Might help stop them falling out if they are deeper in the wells (or might make it worse as they will be a tad smaller once seated...).

Yup - different pellets; different depths - still no luck...
You could try a stronger recoil spring. probably have to experiment to find one that lets the action cycle, but not let the slide "slam" against the stop.
When the 425-hp "street Hemi" version hit the street in 1965, it was akin to taking an M230 chain gun to an arcade shooting gallery Peter
