What tools do you use to carve wood like that? Please forgive my ignorance - I'm a metal machining student not a woodworker!

This is Bubinga which destroys metal unless it's carbide lol. I use bandsaws, a drill press, belt sanders, Foredom TX carving flrx shaft tool, and hours of sanding.

That's some nice work there Iagent.....gun looks great....almost looks like you know what you're doing.......very very nice.......I realy like the way the forarm extends beyond the trigger guard.......

Thanks, here are some others I have made. The 2250 barrel in walnut burl is one I'm giving to my dad for Christmas, and the 1377 in burl is going to be for me once I get it like the one I have made for my dad. I made his up and decided that I need one too lol.

Beautiful stuff! Those grips are works of art. 8)
Maybe its time to spiffy up one of my Crosman pistols one of these nice wood grips. :D
