Did you get the "breech kit"? Did it come with the bolt, bolt handle, breech end plug, and both fastening screws?

Whatcha using for optics on the 2240?

Thanks,

I received my steel breech kit from crosman yesterday and im really happy with it.

For 36.95 plus tax and shipping with all your getting, its a steel (pun intended).

Came with everything needed, but ya gotta use your old breech screw and rear sight screw, no biggy :D

I'll take some pictures, BE RIGHT BACK!

I bought mine direct from crosman through phone calls. Just have the code ready (#2240spbk) when you call them. I think the shipping was 6 bucks and taxes depends on what province.

It has a kind of matte, slightly textured finish to it that you can just make out in the last picture.

Is there still a preservative on the breech?

Mine was covered in a wax like substance, it will take a bit of elbow grease t get it off....I think I used some #0000 steel wool and some oil.

Is the breech for a 2240 only? Or will it fit the 1377 as well?
