What is the difference(s) between a single pump and a multi-pump? Where exactly is the bleed hole? Do multi-pumps have bleed holes? Would it increase my 781's velocity if I blocked up the bleed hole? Am I right in thinking that the bleed hole decreases the velocity? Sorry for posting so much
Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.
Single pump - pump once to cock the gun, load and shoot.
Multi pump - pump many times (usually 10x), load and shoot ..... (sucks).
I did block the bleed hole on my 2289 and increased the fps upto by about 50 fps.
The Bleed Hole is just about in the mid of the exit port above the valve stem on the valve body.
Well, I kinda meant INSIDE the gun. I wanted to know the difference in the guts of the gun. I could figure out that much by the names multi-pump and single pump.

Well, here is the guts different.
If you notice that only the valve housing is the different.
In single pump, the pump piston holds the air after the pump compress the air.
Multi pump, the air is being stored and held inside an actual valve housing.
