I recently purchased this rifle and so far I am very impressed with this shooter. I have put through it over 1000 rounds without any malfunctions or jams or any issues. Accuracy at 30 feet is quarter size with 10 rounds in it. Muzzle FPS is consistent at 550 at room temperature using Crosman Premier Wadcutters (7.9gr). The rifle did come with a Pellet Pro Speedloader which is a real time saver and seats the pellets perfectly each time. I even tried some Beeman Crow Magnums in it and there is enough room for smooth operation. The Crow Magnums FPS was a little lower to be expected 525. The only drawback is once you load up the AirSource Crosman states to either shoot the whole thing or de-charge it and not store the gun under pressure. The nice thing about is you go through a bottle of gas very fast with the speed loaders, 250 rounds a session seems to be the magic number for constant performances.
Also the Nightstalker uses the same clips as the 1077 which is good because I pre-load and shoot with little time down.
I would rate this gun a 9 out of 10. I have read other posts and comments from other people that are not fond of this gun and my suggestion is simple, If you do not like the synthetic stocks with modern looks this gun probably is not for you. For myself as you have seen in my other pictures and posts of my Guns "I Like Them ALL".
I am not worried about bulk fill at this time yet. the Air Source bottles keep me contempt with about 250 rounds with each one. I kinda like the freedom of no extra lines or tanks on this gun.
WOW ! i'm a handgun user and nothing else but i can tell you something, if i can see that in a store somewhere in quebec city i WILL buy one. Do you need a liscence since it's a 580 fps ???

I myself am waiting for the Berrata Model too. I am curious as to what kind of price Umerex is going to charge for this one because the actual Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm is $850.00. (yeah I checked it out and had it in my hands). There is not a whole lot of difference between the Air gun and the real thing in looks, just the weight is heavier with the real gun. Time will tell but until then I will enjoy the Crosman Nightstalker ($150.00 very fair price for this gun). By the way I am up to 2500 rounds already and still shoots great. The action is flawless accuracy is great And yes I did have to register this gun, I recieved the registration paper for it today. For your information on those Gamo Raptor Pellets the Nightstalker shot them at 710fps and the Crosman Preimer Wadcutters are still consitant at that 550fps. At 25% increase in velocity I was only expecting 650-685fps as Gamo stated. Any how whoever finds the price on the new version of the Berretta CX4 in Pellet Form let us know and who has them for sale.
Yes you do need a license to get it, it is called a PAL (Possession Acquisition License) This is for purchasing of firearms and ammunition (pellets and BB's do not need a PAL as of yet). The Nightstalker PAL rating is over 500 feet per second. And yes it is registered with the Firearms Center. The Nightstalker is registered as a normal long gun not Restricted. You will need a PAL to purchase or borrow any firearm that is rated over 500 FPS.
Apparently I have seen in some Forums that there is a Canadian Version of the Nightstalker available with a rating of 495 FPS but I am not quite sure who handles them. Possible check out mmarvin in the sales area of our forum.
