They seem to be very rare as there are not too many informations on the net on these gun.

Hi-rez scans of APP661 article....
This is the only article that I had in my archives. There are a few inaccuracies in some info presented - ie - the O-rings at the bottom of the magazine - those are not original, someone added them later for some reason or another - of all the APP661 guns that I have worked on, this article was the only incidence of an o-ringed magazine I have seen. Some other minor boo-boos, but otherwise a decent article. Enjoy.

My two APP661 pistols
Lower left - a very early, low s/n App-661 (1xx). This variant has a pressurized grip, and has the CO2 bulb inserted with the neck down, with the piercing needle in the end cap. It uses 8 gram CO2 bulbs. It also has a very nice, one piece, chequered wood grip, and a few other minor differences from the later, more common models.
Upper right - the later, and far more common variant (5 digit s/n). This one uses 12 gram CO2 bulbs. Apparently, a couple collectors that have managed to find boxed specimens tell me that they had screw in adapters for 8 or 12 gram CO2s. In this gun, the CO2 bulb is inserted neck up, and pierces at the valve. The one piece, plastic grip is very comfortable. These little guns are no powerhouse, and not terribly accurate, but they are built like a sherman tank, and are a lot of fun to shoot. Both variants have a detachable magazine that holds 7 BBs.
