Wow, you must have a thick wallet. The Swarovski scopes are not cheap. Russell Sports carries one model but the price starts at $1350 and goes over $2100. Check page 206-207 at

Many years ago I looked through a Swarovski scope at the shooting range. It was the clearest scope I ever tried.

Hi BobV,
I would describe the Swarovski optics just as you did "so clear you'd think there was no lens in it !!!" In the last 26 years I have owned many brands/models of scopes, even a 36X Leupold BR scope, and many Bushnells, Tascos, Weavers. I also looked through several other brands but nothing has compared to the Swarovski. Too expensive for my tastes but the quality is much appreciated.

I have the misfortune of trying everything available. German and CZ glass is superb, but there is a US manufacturer that make their own glass http://www.usaoptics.net never seen one of these though.
Kahles, Schmidt and Bender, Meopta make glass for the Germans, Swarovski and Zeis.
These come close but only in the top of the range models Leupold Mark4, Burris, Bausch & Lomb 4200 series (Bushnell,) Weaver and IOR.
Never rated any Nightforce after a Leupold Mark4 boosted to 35mag + ret change which i had for five years. Now use a cheaper VX3 20-50LRT, GEN2, Mark4 turrets, Killflash, Aluminia kit, 50ft adapter & wheel $1600US
