The Cheapest CO2 Powerlet for your airgun in Canada ........
Re: The Cheapest CO2 Powerlet for your airgun in Canada ....
Guess it's time to revive an old thread, seeing how I'm running out of CO2 powerlets. I just sent Maria an email as per wm995's suggestion. Has anyone gotten some from her lately? After reading this thread I feel like opening one of her powerlets and snorting it, that's how good you all make it sound.
No, no, it was bigger than that! It looked like a weird monkey-dog thing!

She has very good customer service and quickly ships. One thing to note is that her C02 is food grade and contains NO OIL like the crosman carts do so you must make sure to add some pellgun oil or whatever you use to the tip of each powerlet.Joolz wrote:Guess it's time to revive an old thread, seeing how I'm running out of CO2 powerlets. Heh, usually I get flak for reviving a 4 year old thread but this one is definitely worth bringing back to life. At least for those of us too poor to invest in a fancy PCP system.
Yep, always put a thick drop of oil atop the Crosman powerlets I use, even try to balance it nicely so that the oil doesn't drop off. Good idea to also drop a drip into the portion that connects to the powerlet? Or is too much oil a bad thing?
Anyway, looking forward to hearing from her, apparently she's happy to give members here a better price than via ebay. Besides, I stopped using evil paypal so this works just fine for me.

Yea thanks for bumping this thread!
This forum has been amazing for deals/sales..
Id be happy to buy from someone like Maria.
I put a drop of oil on the actual gun seal part every so often before I put a CO2 in..
Usually I can tell if my airgun (mostly pistols) is well oiled if some oil gets outside the frame after shooting.
Then you know its cycling through and you have excess even.

I buy Crosman powerlets from LeBaron. Fortunately they have a store about 20 minutes from me. They do mail order.
Their prices:
5 - $3.99 - 80 cents ea.
25 - $15.94 - 64 cents ea.
40 - $22.85 - 57 cents ea.
For mail order they have a minimum order of $35. I have never ordered from them so can't speak of any other costs/restrictions.

Yup, give her a call! I did a local pickup in North Van about 3 months ago from her shipper/warehouse. Did not meet Maria personally but the fellow at the warehouse knew what to do. Best to have all the information handy though - i.e. 12g non-threaded, # of units.damack wrote:the ebay store is still open

It's my second time purchasing from her, I hope this becomes an annual thing

Do the ones from 'Maria" have a bottle cap type tip or a smooth neck? the Crosman's have the bottel cap approach and it sometimes causes damage to the rings on one particular gun that has a Co2 manifold.... I am looking fro smooth necked cartridges.
Keep you powder dry and your seals oiled.

Re: The Cheapest CO2 Powerlet for your airgun in Canada ....
Thanks,
Do you have a Crosman that you can measure and/or compare the neck diameter of this one?
The smooth is good but they look narrower. this manifold need to seal on the neck not the tip.

Crosman - .294

Thanks Eric I was trying to remember what the other brand name was that was smooth necked.
I will get some from you soon.
.49 per unit for brand name is great.
