Well, on my Crosman Backpacker 1389, my Crosman 781 and my Crosman Quest 500x, it says on the reciever of the gun: "Before using read owner's manual available free from Crosman Airguns E. Bloomfield, NY USA14443". So you might try that.

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

Well, that's bloody irritating...damned Crosman!!!!

If you e-mail Crosman, they can send it to you if they have....the gun is ancient!!!

Well the 400 is a old 10 shot repeater and the 262 is basically a old ssp 250 made in to a rifle its a single shot

Airgunfun.

Maybe my computer is different, but when I click on your second URL, I get great drawings of the model 400.

The parts diagram and parts list is for the Crosman 400 but the owner's manual is for the 262. Crosman screwed up when they scanned the documents.
