Attention RM422 & Sniper....

#1 Post by LarryS »

Sniper -Have had no success in locating sources of Apolo 22 calib airgun balls or any leads to any entity or company with the name Apolo. Can you supply a URL or place of sales?.

RM422 -Hornady 22 calib balls suitable for airguns: Unable to locate anything but muzzle loading ammo. where weight in grains or size is far above what could be shot by an air gun. Do you have any URL's to sources for that ball that is jacketed to prevent rifling wear in an air gun?

Thankyou. LarryS

APOLO PELLET & SPHERICS (ROUND BALLS)

http://www.balinesapolo.com.ar/

At one time D&L was about to carry their line of pellets but didn't get my
approval on quality of the pellets since most of them would just fell out of the breech of my Diana's, especially the D350 and both of the sizes of the pellets had bad accuracy, didn't matter from which guns.
I wanted to try out the spherics but it wasn't available back then.

We have a clue then..... The 1250 Lobo balls I have just received are also from Argentina...Industria Argentina and are called Alta Precision microcalibrados 5 1/2 mm. These may be from the same source with hopefully a little better manufacturing....or the same?

I have found they look good & seat well in a Cr140 and have complete wide band rifling marks around the center when fired into a soft target for recovery.

I will have to find out where "Industria" is or assume they are saying the industry of Argentina....

They do not roll thru my barrel and they hit hard! at 588 FPS on the second one I tested for impact graphing with my little KE box.(a pendulum). Thankyou, -LarryS
