Yes, you're right by sound of people here are always talking about
Canadian Tire ....lol.... actually better expaination of Canadian Tire is
almost like Walmart - Canadian ..... it's like big chain store that sells
alot of automotive parts - tires - hardwares etc .....

Canadian Tire is a chain of hardware type stores that sell auto parts, tires, tools, sporting goods, garden supplies, house ware, paint ect, ect.

Airguns in Candian Tire are more expensive than the same guns selling in a American Walmart. And Canadian version are usually de-tuned to have less fpe.
In CanTire, a M2004 is selling at CDN 100. In USA, one can buy it at USD 45 !!
Also, I suspect that the Canadian are getting the worst crosman 2240s batches.
