Marksman 2004

#1 Post by ABshooter »

I'have heard it is the best beginner handgun out there, but the reviews at www.reviewcentre.com mostly say it's junk (although they also mostly say the Quest is junk  ). Which is it???

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

And it broke
I got my money back
It was a very good shooter for 316 shots

I put close to 1000 shots through mine and I never had a major problem with it before I sold it.

You just have to push the retaining pins back in occasionally and make sure the o-ring seal stays seated.

Although, for the price Canadian Tire charges for them, you're probably better off getting the real deal Weirhauch HW40.

They can be hit and miss apperantly. Some have not worked from the start from what I've read, and some like mine work really well. I'm guessing that I have around 1100-1200rnds through mine, and the only issue I've had is a couple of pins that wanted to wander out of the frame. Easy fix with some epoxy though. Mine is really accurate with Exacts, and a decent red dot sight made a huge difference. The trigger on mine is really nice after a minor adjustment. With a two handed hold I can hit a penny 10/10 times from 9 meters. I think they are about $80 at D&L, but I got a manager at Cantire to sell me one for $95 tax in, to me it was worth every penny. If you don't want to gamble with Marksman QC, just save a bit more money and get an HW40/P3.
