Possession and Acquisition Licence
http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/info_for-rens ... ault_e.asp

You need this licence to buy or to own firearms, that included any airguns
over 500 fps.

PAL = Posession & Acquisition License.

A standard PAL allows you to posess and acquire non-restricted firearms, including airguns rated as such.

The PAL can be endorsed to allow you to posess and acquire restricted firearms, such as handguns and restricted rifles as well.

To get a PAL, you have to take a course, and pass a test. You can also challenge the test if you think you have sufficient knowledge of the subject matter.

More info can be found here: http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca

non-restricted PAL costs $60
restricted and non-restricted PAL is $80

it's a lot easier to get both at the same time....

PAL is valid for 5 years, after than you need to re-apply and pay the fees again.

What kind of questions do they ask you? ( in the PAL test).

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

there’s practical and written test on both non-restricted and restricted exams, basically 4 exams in total (if you want a restricted)

As for what kinda question on the practical part you have to handle load/unload firearms. Written test is basically common sense (well it least it was for me :P ) but you only need 80% on both. If you have no experiance with firearms take the course...
