Daisy Powerline 856 piston mod

Ok, so, my old 856 Powerline (.177) was shooting around 400 fps with Crosman hunting pellets.

I yarded it apart to take an exploded pic in the Grizzly 840 thread and noted that there was little modification potential.

Airsmith282 noted that the piston was bored out to detune the 856.
So I pulled it apart again and filled the front of the piston with 5 minute epoxy.

It now shoots around 580-590 fps with Crosman hunting pellets and Beeman hollowpoints are up to 610-620 fps.

Looks like my old gopher gun has a new lease on life.
