Airgun purchase & Hunting by visitor

I along with three friends are visiting ontario in may and would like to be able to do a bit of hunting can anyone advise of the legalities of us purchasing airguns and hunting with them.

well, far as i know you'll need to be a registered resident for a certain period of time, then you'll need to register for a hunting license, and all that good stuff.

other than that, you'll need a registered guide. otherwise, dont get caught :lol:

What part of Ontario will you be visiting? Open seasons vary in different parts of the province.

You can buy an under 500fps airgun almost anywhere.

A non-residents licence to hunt small game will cost you $87.50.

You don't have to be a resident to get a hunting licence, actually you can even get a PAL if you want (but it takes a while). Legally you should get a hunting license, although are seasons for when you can hunt something...
