Sheridan EB20

#1 Post by ralphschaap »

Hello everyone,

Does anyone has some experience with the Sheridan EB20?

I have tryed to repair my eb20, but i can't get the chamber out of the gun and i have to get it out, because one of the rings inside is broken or so.. It leaks co2 so i can't shoot with it..

I have a picture of the barrel:

is the right grey/silver dot supposed to be a screw or something? Otherwise i can try it with a hamer or so, but i don't want to use to much force...

that screw is holding the valve in place it looks like. Does it have a phillips head? Once your unscrew it you should be able to push the valve out through the pumping end of the tube.

I know you meant where the CO2 comes out from/to the front ... right.

i now a little about thoes guns and you need a special remer tool to get the rings out the valve is pressed into the tube on alot fo the Sheridan guns and its a bit*****h to get it apart, leave it to an expert to play with even i wont touch a Sheridan gun again, the company reccomends to send it to them for repair they just replac the gun if it fails under warranty from what i heard so i wont say yes or no here what they really do or dont do, any how there are a few places in the US where they fix Sheridan guns but i dont know any one here unless you talk to john at D&L i have found john to be a great guy and full of knowledge..

I just took one EB20 apart and once you get the bolt out
you can push the valve assembly from the front to the back
using socket wrench with short extension.
DO NOT PUSH IT TOWARD THE FRONT because you will
damage the o-rings of the valve body against the cap thread.
I'll post some pictures later.

Hi Parker,

Yes it is very well made, also very accurate as well and there is nothing
needed to mod, the barrel is solid attach to the receiver and the tube,
the bolt is built with the long nose to push the pellet further down over
the port hole.
One problem with EB20 is not many pellet selections for it.
I think D&L carry the EB22 and is a better buy.
It's absolutely worth the money, perhaps marvin might have some for a
good deal.
