No more Airguns on CanadianTire Website !!!

#1 Post by under500fps »

I hope that they don't stop selling airguns & airgun supplies at my local store in the near future.
Are they doing this just to be under the radar of the federal political climate before the next election :?:

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

Hi Rene ,
It may be a politicaly motivated descision ..to stop advertising airguns , they did that with firearms in the early 90's ..then stopped selling them altogether ...to be honest ..if they stopped selling airguns they would be doing you and everybody else a favour ! .
Get The HW 77 from Illingsworth and some JSB's ..and you will never need CT again ..You can get a HW30s /R7 for the price of a Norica at CT!.

You will probably just find it's that time of year.
Guns and things of violence don't go with santa clause.
This was the answer I got when I asked why air rifles were not in any christmas sale flyers.

Personally I hope Cantire stops selling airguns. They would have to clear them out at rediculous prices, and I would capitalize! It would be a really good reason to get another backpacker or 2240.

CTC & Guns

#10 Post by RossB »

Canadian Tire stores are private franchises, not a chain.
The final decisions on what stock to carry are made by the individual owners.
Some stores have a firearms dealer license; others do not.
In Sudbury, there are two CTC stores.
One store stocks only new airguns, mostly Beeman and Crosman.
The other store stocks the airguns plus new and used shotguns and centrefire and rimfire rifles.
In the politically correct big shyt in Southern Ontario, some stores may opt to carry no airguns, softair, or paintball.

O noticed taht too.

one of teh major reasons I love airguns so much is taht fact it's easy to aquire.

I mena, no like f***ing green gass which costs a fortune, and you have to order and you can only ground ship it.

and it has to be propane!? I dun feel ssafe with taht to be honest.

but in teh stores tehy still have there regualr selection, I think tehy jsut took it of teh web site cause tehy can't order it anyhow from the website.
