BSA Airsporter question

#1 Post by Mulby »

Hi folks,
I just found the above mentioned air gun for sale locally. The seller wants $400Cnd. I have no idea how old it is, but it is in really nice shape so it can't be that old. Anybody got any experience with these guns? What were they worth new while they were being made? TIA,

Thanks Sniper, but I've been through those. I guess I'm asking more of an "is it worth the money" question, and also does anyone have any experience with them? I found out that it's about 12 years old and has only a couple hundred rounds through it. Thanks for any more input,

Thanks,

The seller said that he would not accept any less than $360, so it's a no go. I think I'll take my Xmas bonus $$$ to Illingworth's and get an HW50s next weekend. I really like the look and feel of the BSA, but the seller turned his nose up at my $250 offer, and I have fancied the idea of having a 50s for quite a while now. Thanks again,
