Can you get a CO2 gun (say a 2240), fire off 10 shots, put it in the safe, and use the rest of the cartridge later? Or does it leak out? How about Air Source?

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

I always leave live co2 in my guns all the time even if the cartrage is almost exausted,it helps keep the seals playable and the seals need constante pressure on them at all times as well,to leave a gun with out the co2 in them over time the seals in Most airguns will shrink dry out and crack as well valve stem seals will do the same in co2 powered airguns, leaving the gas in the guns will not harm them and yes over several months some gas does escape and this is normal and there is no cure for it.. also, also of different manufactors of CO2 use a tinly bit of oil mixed in with the co2 this helps to lube parts like the inside of the valve and its seals places where you cant get at with out taking them apart which woul not bea good idea unless the valve is pissing gas out the barrel then you got trouble. also is a good idea to put a drop or 2 of pellgun oil on every 2nd or 3rd bottle where it gets periced this will help in lubricating the end seal so it will stay plyable as well.

have a great day and happy shooting
