this is what i would do .
pore some oil down the tube for the co2 (.5 teaspoon), then slack off the bolts that hold the valve in place .(not much just 1 turn ) put the gun over a heat vent and let it warm up . put the co2 in with out tighting the bolts . ( IT WILL NOT FLY APART) .
older guns have hard seals and when a bolt is tightend from one side it will squish the oring on that side . . make sure the oil and gun get nice and warm for a day . if that doesn't work . it is easy to take apart . and replace the valve seal .
the 2 bolts to slack off = one under the barrel the other is for the stock.
