Thanks. I did some digging and found that SIR has Williams, and they look the same as the Beeman, so I went and picked one up today. $71.99 +tax.

Beeman sells the Williams but they call them "Beeman". The Williams FP-AG works fine (Fool Proof - Air Gun).... same as what Beeman sells.

The FP-GR (Fool Proof - Grooved Receiver) will work on many airguns but not all airguns. The FP-GR worked fine on my Diana 52. It wouldn't mount on my HW35 but the FP-AG did. It all depends on whether you have enough clearance for the side of the sight that hangs down a bit. You might be fine with the FP-GR. The AG model has more clearance for the round receiver tubes on springers.

I'm mounting it on my HW30. I don't think SIR has the other one.

Williams FP-AG

Here is Williams web site. Look on page 10 for the FP-GR and the FP-AG-TK (Fool Proof Air Gun Target Knobs). You will notice that the AG model has a shorter vertical slide that runs down the left side of receiver. The slide base also has a rounded contour on the inside to provide clearance for the airgun receiver tube.

I'm not sure if the GR will work on your HW30S. Maybe someone here has tried it.

I have a GR mounted on my Slavia 631 and that gun has the most awkward receiver and arched tube you can get. It should work fine on your HW30.

You should see the fat tube on the HW35 and HW80. Noticably larger than the HW30S and CZ631.

Well, I finally got a chance to try my Williams sight. It fit on the receiver fine, but the adjustment with the GR version was too low. I had to crank it up all the way and ran out of screw adjustment. Does the Beeman D&L sells sit higher like the AG version of the Williams? Want to get an idea before I order one.

Thanks

The Beeman sight that D&L Airgun sells is the Williams FP-AG. Same sight but with Beeman tag on the box.
