new springer dieseling...
What to do if my springer dieseling ? Will the combustion damage the internal ? Should I take it apart and clean it ?
If you want to, I guess you could take the piston out and clean out the cylinder.
It happened to me once with D36, it was breaking over the sound barrier on the chrono because I had stored the gun with the barrel upward for 3 weeks time. I just shot it with some heavy pellets about 5 -7 times and it went away. It's still good untill today to the spec. and never again I store the springers with the barrels upward.

most brand new springers i have been finding that desiel is because alot of the factorys soak the guns in oil prior to shipment the guns will smoke and some some nasty pellet damage for a bit but this clears up over use and the gun tends to settle down again,, taking a new gun apart usually voides the warratny so id ask the company you got it from about warranty polices before you take it apart to clean out all the oil from the factory .....
