can you add 2~3 baffles for the "muzzle brake" ? what is the ID of the front cap? I think 6.5mm is idea for cal22.

Yes, that's the whole idea with that beautiful design but you can do that
after, customized it any way you want. ......

hey man, sign me up for one of them! are you just lookin to make them all up the same dimensions? or are you flexible on the size of the hole in the front piece? if so, make mine 5.5mm, and dont worry bout the tubing.

Good stuff Metalmuncher49! 8) 8) 8)
That is pretty well how I do my shrouds, except that I use Delrin instead of high quality brass.
A spacer here and there. A smaller hole here and there.

your getting those numbers from a chronograph? or your just estimating based on your theory of 20 fps per inch?

Metalmuncher49, It _is_ fun making super efficient "brakes", "Flame Suppressors", and such to protect our enviornment, isn't it!.

Since I like working in close tolerances on brakes..... I need to get another brass rod slightly larger than 0.22 (5.5mm) and lathe it down to a flush fit without play in the barrel a few inches.... with a cutoff end just past the exit hole on the "brake" to inspect "Flame arresting" cylinder for dead centering to the bore.

The cheap hardware store brass rods are excellent for pushing a cleaning patch thru the barrels and pushing out pellets that got bent or whatever.

The Thumps and Puffs I get are clear proof of flame extinction.

Would that be just for cosmetics? Or do these things actually have a place on a springer (slavia 630)? Thanks in advance.
