2240 Tac Light and Barrel Shroud

#1 Post by On/Scene Tactical »

Hey Guys..

Well if any of you guys know me,, it's only a matter of time before I wrap everything in Kydex, and do it up On/Scene Tactical style....

Played a little today with a barrel shroud and light holder...

Barrel Shroud and holder are made of Kydex, flashlight is an Inova X5T

Turned out kind of cool I guess...

Hey Guys..

LOL Aaron...
I could do an open Spyderco out the front like a Bayonet!! LOL:)

Ya let me know about the Axe..Can't do it for Christmas though..:)

Metalmuncher...

Kydex is a thermal forming plastic.. It widely used Everywhere from buses (interiors) to hospitals,,elevators, butcher shops,, and a clean Room near you.. The handrails at the hospitals are all formed from kydex...

In the knife and gun world it's used for holsters, tool holders and knife sheaths..

A wide variety of parts can be made from it..However it is heat sensitive,,so it needs to be kept cool, however it is not effected by water, oil and most household chems.

Have a lok at my website and see what I do with it..
My signiture link is FUBAR so here it is..
