My new invention 6 shot 177. cal BB joint

#1 Post by Aaron »

ok guys dont laugh at the name but this idea i had and possibly for the first time invented is a 6 shot 177. cal bb joint

http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c156/ ... bjoint.jpg

after many minutes of pondering of a way to go dove hunting with an airgun i came up with this. using this will help most hunters nock thier prey out of the sky . so far i have made about a hundred tested them at varoius meters & power levels, with my 2289 . only use this on a 22 cal airgun they do not fit in 177. the best thing i was able to come up with is
15 yard shot with 25 pumps keeps the 6 bb in a pattern of a 1 wide circle....repetivly... and the succes rate of this is 80% i have shot at 45 birds ( i kept track ) and killed 36 , works best under 15 yards..

and i make these by using scott paper towels cut 4 inches long by 1 inch wide i wet 1 end and place 6 bbs in a row and roll it ( like a joint hence the name ) then wet it all and lightly twist it so it wont come apart and set it aside and let it dry..........and thats it the only thing is that they are time consuming but they works very very good........

c yall later, aaron.........

you aint the first one  ive done all sorts of that kinda stuff in the past. my favorite was my paintballgun flechette's. make a shotgun type wad/cup that falls away when you shoot it. fill it with .177 steel darts. voila. you have a flechette gun. much fun

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

well if ya do it right, no steel ever touches the barrel. just the cup material. im pretty sure, though not 100%, that a 14 ga. shotgun wad should work... but whatever, i just used black tape and paper.
