Gentlmen, does anyone out there have any information on the Saxby Palmer Ensign rifle. You guys from the UK may have info about this thing. I may be able to purchase the rifle but he does not have any of the cartidges. Any info or where to look for that info would be helpful.
Thanks
Avanar

I had no clue what you were referring to, so I did a quick search engine and came across this article about it. Seems to be a bit of a white elephant.

The sale of self contained cartridge guns (commonly known as 'Brococks') has been banned for over a year now in the UK. You can own one, but you must apply for a firearms certificate. You are not allowed to sell them though. (This is the case in the UK, not sure what the laws are in Canada)
I'd imagine as a result of this law in the UK, this design of gun will die out if it hasn't already.
Spare parts and support may be a concern you should consider carefully before making a purchase.
All the best
