Marksman 1745SF
Marksman 1745SF
I've searched all over the web for a rifle that I have. It's called the Marksman 1745SF. Has anyone ever heard of this rifle? I bought it at CT. It was apparently the last one that they had.

I heard a while ago that Marksman has sold out to Beeman.
But i am not 100% sure.
If i am wrong please correct me somebody.
It is probably why it is hard to get information about Marksman products.
I was told that most of the entry level breakbarrel share the same powerplant of the 1790.
If it looks like the Beeman GH500, they brobably basicly the same or have the same power plant.

Wait, if Marksman stopped making it, wouldn't it be worth a good amount of money in the future?RM422 wrote:Nothing special that I know of. It was just a 495fps break barrel. Marksman probably stopped making it. I don't know much about this rifle as I'm not a big marksman fan. But I can probably find out more about it for you.
You mean this air rifle:

It is not a bad little rifle and pretty accurate if the barrel is fixed up. The one I have had a manufacturing defect which squished sections of its straw barrel when they put on the mounting bushings. I could never get it to shoot consistent untill I chopped off the damaged barrel sections and remounted the barrel with new custom fabricated bushings.

It is exactly the same action. The only difference is the stock and sights.under500fps wrote:Here is a closer look of my 1790 power plant.
Does it look similar to one of your rifles ?
I am just curious![]()
I like the target stock version you have.
It is a nice plinker, easy cocking and low recoil. The safety is nicely located and easy to operate.
