i had one of those biathlon ones, in my opinion it was nothing but junk. it hated me, i swear! so it got chopped up.

You asked if it would be worth much I wouldn't think so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think ,i paid around $100 for my 1790 at CanadianTire 3 years ago.
They still have one on display at same CT in Dartmouth N.S. for around the same price.
I like mine, i pushed out fiber-optic of the front sight to look through the small hole which makes it a very good peepsight system to shoot at targets with at 33' .The trigger could be better but the rest is ok for the price.

Mine is the 1745SF; it doesn't have the fibre optic.

I totally agree. My bro had one, it totally suuucccckkkkkkeeeeeeddddddd. I hated that thing, it got returned.
