crosman 2240 question

#1 Post by hitman »

I was wondering if the 2240 with just the shoulder stock 24' barrel and zoom scope be enough for squirrel hunting in the summer and fall. How far away would i be able to take down the the critters?

Thanks for the info :D

I've never hunted squirel...

But a 2240 with a 24" barrel and stock valve components should give somewere around 550 fps with a 14.3 grain pellet @ 70 degrees.

A squirrell would be no match for that gun, especialy with a couple of power mods.

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.
