Hey Guys..
Anyone have a spare 2240 trigger they would like to sell or loan ??
I've got a trigger project I'd like to do,,but need another to copy..
I've got one in my gun,, just not too sure how to remove it....

Take off the right grip then take the 2 screws off and then take the plate off. Know what I mean? I can post pictures if you want.

Another question if anyone knows..
how critical is the thickness of the trigger itself ?
I'm making a new trigger if anyone is curious..

It should be the original thickness because
I think only that thickness can fit back into the gun.

Yaa I'll have to put in on a micrometer and flat sand the piece I have for the trigger....
Metal muncher looks like he's going to be able to help me on part of it...
It's going to be pretty cool and one of a kind if it turns out....

Two screws out it goes ..... be careful because the safety trigger lock ball bearing will jump out and gone bye bye

Hey Guys..
Yaa I know the ball detent is a pain,,and can for sure be lost easily..
I've had it out a few times.. Didn't have a problem putting it back in though..

Umm, what little ball? My 2240 is fully disassembled and I never saw any such ball...

I found the best way to avoid to lost your ball is to unmount your entire trigger assembly from the receiver before you remove the trigger assembly's side pannel.
