Okay try these steps:
1: Pull the slide back. 2: Keep your finger on the slide so it stays like that; slide back. 3: Push back on the trigger guard. 4: While you are pushing pull it down.

Yup this pistol is defective. You have to get it fixed. It's supposed to just come down when you just pull it lightly. Just keep trying. It might some how work.
hi there first pull the trigger guard down with 1 finger then you pull hte slide back and pull up at the same time and it wil release the slide, i haev owned a few of these ppk/s in fact i got a buddys here that iam selling any how, you must pull the trigger guard down then pull back on the slide and pull up at the same time and it will relase the slide once its up then move the slide foward and it will come off the gun along wihthte spring inside, getting it back one is the reverse order more or less but the spring must be compressed in and then you put the slide back on from the front while holding down the trigger guard and watch out for the left hand side bar that is on a spring it likes to jump out......any how hope this helps if not then bring the gun to someone that can show you hands on how to do this..

Yeah, but in this case the trigger guard won't even come down when he's pulling it.
yea thanks for the help anyways u guys but i called crosman and they said that the newer versions of the gun arent able to be disassembled because people where complaining that they couldnt get them back together so they made it now so that u cant take the gun apart. im pissed.

hey ok a bit late, but i hope you are still up for this
but i warn you that it is a PAIN to do this
to field strip your ppk (the newer model)
if you look at your trigger guard and your trigger, right above the trigger is a circular button (if you are holding the gun in your left hand) if you look to the right of that circular button you should see a smaller circle there is a small peg which holds the trigger inplace, go get a small screwdriver or whatever you like (i just used the mini screwdriver on my swiss knife) and hammer it out and pull it down and pull the slide back and the top should come off
but BE CAREFUL! when i did this, my safety button fell off (cause i took off the grip) , and some other piece of metal on the otherside which i dont know what it does... and worst of all, the small peg which the hammer hits to release the CO2 fell out -_-*.... so i spent an hour fixing that yesterday so there you go. have fun, but dont break it haha (now i'm scared to put CO2 in ...i dont want it to explode haha)
