781 problems
On my 781 pumper, there is a long tube under the barrel (compression chamber?) and at the front of this tube there is kind if a plug. About a centimeter behind this plug is a hole (about 4-6" millimeters wide) that goes through the tube, there is nothing in it, it is a totally unobstructed hole right throught from side to side, not top tp bottom. When I pump my gun, air hisses out of that hole. I wasn't sure, so I cocked it and pumped it. I then put it to my ear, and lisened untill the hissing stopped. Then I shot a piech of wood. It went in about half a BB, then bounced out. I cocked it again, pumped it and shot the piece of wood imeidietly. The BB went in siggnificantly more. Is this the bleed hole? If I block it up with some epoxy, will I have more power?

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

there is no bleed hole in the 781 sounds to me like you got a scew in the the valve plate that should not be there and its goes into the valve these 2 screws and if you got them to tight you damage the valve other then that the valve stem is another issue that can hiss as well your going to need a new valve assembley by the sounds of it because its all plastic i would just replace the whole valve my self its less hassel, the 781 is a single pump and can not be over pumped at all, other then that have you checked the orings or replaced them. i had a 781 hiss problem once turnned out the screw had be tighten to much and punctured the valve,
and there is a pin in the fornt might not look like it but its there has to be punched out,,no pin then the no able to pump up.. anyhow if you need any further help let me know..
