Yeah I'm not to crazy about the stock either but I like it also, very accurate and hard hitter.

I'm not surprised at all.. I really don't know where that rule of "not using silicone on spring guns" came from.. I always thought it was BULLSH&T. 100% PURE silicone won't hurt a thing.. I've used it on all my spring guns over the years and have never had a failure from it, only failure i've had was from just wear and tear or faulty parts.

That's pretty good consistency.

How many tins have you put through it (roughly)?

That's what I think. But I really don't find it to be a very GOOD springer lube, even I have a few better on hand. Who started this "damage" thing anyway?

Petroleum distillates eat plastic and rubber.

Some silicone based spray oils contain petroleum distillates.

Install a Micro-GTX insert and you will have a 2 pound pull with no creep.

If you've got a Quest any version of it swap the stock into the Phantom, it's a perfect fit. And then just switch back and forth when needed. Unless thats not what your into I can understand that too :)

KM... :)

Well guys I guess Crosman has it all wrong then and wants us to purposely ruin our spring guns since their Spring Gun Oil IS Silicone.

Click this Link http://www.airgunwarehouseinc.com/py-a-311.html

There's a difference between Silicone "based" lubricants and "Pure" Silicone Lubricant.
