your suggestion on HPA pump?

This is the place to talk about everything airgun related including air rifles, air pistols, pellet guns, pcp airguns and more.

your suggestion on HPA pump?

#1 Post by ineedpal »

I'm about to get a hill pump, which to get? the one without drypack is selling 175US at Mac1, and the one with drypack is 315CAD at D&L. Is the Drypack really usefull(I'm plaining to fill a QB78 now and maybe some high end pcps in the future)? Will I need to change the drypack often if I use the pump every day?
thanks

I use mine almost every other day, I haven't change the dry pack yet but
it's about a couple months old. It's recommended for my HW100T but
I don't think it's a must.
That's very good price $175 USD .... saving about $50.00 CDN. after taxes and ship.
I don't think you'll be needing to change it often eventhough you use it
daily, unless the place that you're using the pump is very damp.

Personally I went the scuba tank route. It works out to similar up front costs, but it takes about 30 seconds without effort to fill my gun. It could go a lot faster but apparently that is not good for the gun seals. There is an ordinary paint ball quick disconnect adapter on my gun, so a yoke on the scuba with a paintball fill adapter works and you can use a 3500psi 18" hose from princess auto.
Airgunning is my hobby... and it is cheaper than
maintaining an outside relationship with another woman.

Good choice, I'd do the same ....
There are a couple guys I heard that were buying those pumps from D&L
lately, I hope he got lots in stock .....

The next one I like to try is the Logun's pump. Also I'd like to get the
Bauer compressor or Fx compressor but for now I enjoy the exercise.
