The great 2240

#1 Post by hitman »

Has anyone tried the k&s airgun muzzle breaks for the 2240? do they reduce the sound much?
Also has anyone tried the MaxZ bulk adaptor? i was wondering if it would have trouble getting over the border.
Thanks for the info :D

Hi hitman,

you meant this one :
http://www.airgunforum.ca/forum/viewtop ... 78&start=0

I always wanted to order from MaxZ but he's too far away .....
if you want to keep it as 2240 that 22xx adapter is too much front heavy.
Cooper-T is more weight balance front and back.

Definately go with the Cooper-T adaptor and you can go back to 12g bulbs if needed. Buy a 90 degree paintball elbow fitting and a quick detachable fitting, a remote coil, CO2 tank, and you have a powerful cheap shooting solution.

Costs: Do it slowly over winter as I did if money is tight.

1. Cooper-T 2240 bulb replacement 25USD
2. Coiled remote 30 USD off EBay
3. Paintball fiitings 10 USD
4. 9/12/16/20 CO2 tank 20 USD

With this set up big valve mods can be done for major power, but if you are lucky like me I picked up a 3000 psi 47ci HPA tank off EBay for 25 USD.

I have shot both gun configs and i personally do not like the off balance of a gun with an attached tank. I use a tank hip holster and QD fitting with a slide valve. That I can swith between guns with very little gas loss.

Max Z

I've purchased from Max and have found him to be reliable with good quality product. I picked up his bulk adapter that screws into the Co2 tube and the bottle hangs out in front of the gun, under the barrell.

Maxs web site address:

No problems with customs. delivered to Surrey, BC.

Hope this helps.
