2289g manual

#1 Post by Darkflare »

Hello, I'm new here so i'll say a quick hello to everyone, hi.

I recently (about a few hours ago) purchased the Crosman 2289g from Canadian tire and unfortunatly it didn't come with a manual or the key for the "Tamper proof trigger gaurd" you know, the plastic ones that break of with the right twist from a pair of plyers. So that problem is fixed, however I would still like a manual and I was wondering if any of you know how i can get one, if I should go back to CT or phone Crosman and get them to send me one. or If I even need one. I already have two airguns, a Daisy 7856 powerline rifle and the Crosman 1008b pistol so I know the basics. But I was wondering if there is a chance of anything that is really important I should know about that gun that it would say in the manual, because of course I'm still gonna use it without the manual.

any help would be awsome.

Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

If you wnat the 2289 parts diagram and parts list drop me a message and I will email them to you. As far as I know they are not available online from crosman.
Airgunning is my hobby... and it is cheaper than
maintaining an outside relationship with another woman.

Thanks :)

I just took a break from shooting my new 2289, and I love it. Though the fibre optic site is a bit of an oddity (never shot with one before) for me. i'm already getting used to the new gun.

I'm only shooting at 18' unfortunatly (down a hallway, with a sheet hanging to stop ricochet, a 1/4 plywood board behind that so I don't damage my closet door... again, and my trusty home made pellet trap, witch is basicly a cardboard box with a few inches of paper (the paper is also twice the thickness of normal paper) The reason for this is that my cousin used to work for a paper company so I have more paper than i kno what to do with and it won't fit in a printer.
