1377
1377
The 1377 is rated at 510 fps/570 BB in my wholesale sports so will need a PAL?!!?!?!?
Hey, don't hate. It releases negative energy, which is bad for everyone.

If you look in a Crosman catalogue you will see where they have little Canada flag symbols and a symbol for Germany too. These indicate a version available for Canada (500fps) and Germany (7.5J).
Dealers don't sell the full power (600fps) version of the Cr1377 in Canada. This version would be classed as a restricted firearm in Canada. A purchaser could not legally use this full power pistol to shoot anywhere except at a shooting range that is approved for restricted firearms. A "Permit to Transport" must be obtained. To obtain this permit a person is usually required to join an approved handgun club. Storage and transportation of the full power Cr1377 requires trigger lock and locked box. Registration and restricted version of PAL are required.
This same set of laws applies to a Cr1377 pistol that has been modifed to shoot over 500fps. To conform to the law, the person must have a restricted PAL and the pistol must be registered immediately and is subject to the above restrictions. If a person, without a Restricted PAL, gets caught before registering the pistol they could be charged with any of the following Criminal Code Offences. (Let's assume they are caught shooting the pistol in a country field).
Sec 86 - Careless use of firearm (first offence - max 2 years imprisonment)
Sec 91 - Unauthorized possession of prohibited weapon or restricted weapon (max 5 years imprisonment)
Sec 92 - Possession of prohibited weapon, device or ammunition knowing its possession is unauthorized (max 10 years imprisonment)
Sec 93 - Possession at unauthorized place (max 5 years imprisonment)
Sec 94 - Unauthorized possession in motor vehicle (max 10 years imprisonment)
Sec 95 - Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition (max 10 years imprisonment)
Hopefully the crown attorney would pursue punishment on summary conviction so the penalty would not be too severe.
According to the Criminal Code, getting caught with a full power 600fps Cr1377, or modified version, is the same as getting caught with a powder burning pistol.

I have the 2005-2006 Sportsman's Guide from Wholesale Sports
and i am looking at thier airgun pages
And a lots of thier FPS are not totaly correct and they do not mention that the airguns are detuned.
But they do mention the airguns that required a FAC but not very clearly.
So all the ones without the mention that you needed a FAC are probably all under 500 fps.
The wholething regarding the FPS in that catalogue is very hard to figure out in my opinion.
They also say: Wholesale Sports is not held responsible for data entry errors. (page 334)
