Simmons?

I have decided on getting a Simmons 22 Mag Rimfire 3-9x42 for my modded-up 2240. Is Simmons a good company? Will this scope work good on this gun? I plan to use Tasco 22/airgun scope rings on it. Btw it costs $55, is it worth that?

i have one simmons . 6-24 -40 i like it alot . it focuses well . i'd say its better then tasco stuff . $49 on ebay (new) for the price ? it's worth it
