GooGone is also available at SuperStore for cheap. I think around $4 for a small bottle.

Try wetting a couple of patches and pull them through the barrel about 3 times each. Follow with a few dry patches. Finally, lightly wet a patch with some "rubber friendly" lubricant and pull through the barrel. The GooGone will strip any oils from the bore and leave it clean.

I'm not so sure q-tips work with a .22 caliber airgun. They are fine for .177 caliber pneumatic airguns and CO2 guns but I wouldn't be shooting them through my springer guns. That's my choice :D

q-tip

todd is right q-tips are not tight enough for a
springer...even if you shoot the 22 cal felt from beeman i would put 3 in a gun as strong as say a model 48 diana...shooting one just for fun from my
air arms s-400 makes it go well above supersonic,
sounds like a 22 rimfire going off!
does not hurt the gun though being psp!

I normally pull patches through my barrels with a nylon string ..pulling string with patch from the breech side out through the muzzle end.....works great with this product....helps me keep my groupings tighter.... Image

never tried googone but might be worth a shot.......
