What's the weight of the ammo you're using? What's it's rated fps? Have you chronied it? More details...I'm drooling. I also wasn't aware we could get these in Canada.

Thanks for letting us shoot that bad boy...That was the first big bore air rifle I ever shot...Holy smokes it was just awesome!
The Sumatra and Talon were extremely sweet as well .....
I finally chronied my dragon today and discovered alot of amazing things. The best shot was at 630 fps at aprox 2200psi with a 175 gr 50cal roundball! I learned that overfilling past 3000psi gives you really bad shots. Most were under 400fps. As the psi dropped closer to 2200 the fps increased. The power of the shots started decreasing after 1500psi.The Great Grousse Slayer wrote:What's the weight of the ammo you're using? What's it's rated fps? Have you chronied it? I get about 15-20 shots per fill (3000psi) and get good accuracy at 25 to 40 yards. I like shooting past 100 yards because you can really see the large 50cal roundball flying through the air before making impact. Sometimes it tumbles after it lands. It pretty much goes where you want it go if you do your partJester wrote:Joe, how many shots do you get per fill?
How is the accuracy, and what distances have you tried it at?

It would appear that when the pressure is high the hammer has a hard time opening the valve, this seems to be true for several rifle I read about like the Condor and the B51. Kind of unusual that companies rate the pressure but the rifle will not take it.
