I don't know why but when I look at thit air rifle, the first Sniper Rifle that pops into mind is the Walther WA2000.

Anyone else noticed the similarity? :D

I think it should as the one I'm getting the Hill MK2 comes with the dry pack. It was recommended by most guys in U.K.

I know that on my Rapids it will in-validates the Warrentee if you don't as you might get moisture in the gun from the pump.

Regarding pumps,

I did a fair bit of research on pump before purchasing the FX GenII pump. The prices differences were not big.
Each have its pros and cons.

Pros for the Hill pump:
Replacement seal kit is available for repair and reconditioning.
Dry Pack system removes more moisture from the air.
Cons:
Dry Pack refills are expensive. Maybe other inexpensive desiccant can be use. No one seems to know.
Higher chance of getting water in air cylinder if Dry Pack is defective or depleted.

Pros for FX GenII pump:
Better mechanical advantage, able to get higher pressures with less effort.
Built-in ceramic moisture filter with water trap. Trapped water is purged every time the pump is pressure relieved.
Cons:
Air is not as dry as desiccant base system, like the Hill pump Dry Pack.

For me, the advantage of the FX pump out weight its Cons. High humidity is not a big issue here on the West Coast. So far, on rare humid occasions I get a bit of wetness out of the bleed hole, not enough to make up half a drop.

I have CF tank from Van at Airhog they are great but be prepared to drop between $450 - $500 US for one including the little fittings and all. Just thought you might want to know. Also as Frank referanced the "Dive Shop" before you get the CF Tank check with the dive shop to see if they have the capabilities to fill to 4500 PSI some don't many will only fill to 3500 MAX still not bad, but all info to consider before plunking down the GREEN.
