Does Lebaron carry the CP99 Compact?
Does anybody know if Lebaron carries this air pistol? I went to their site but the new catalogue is not finished yet. I've read the reviews and would really like to pick up one of these but I don't have a credit card so I can't order online. Does Lebaron or any other store in the greater toronto area that sells airguns carry one of these? Thanks.
I know were to get a cp99 compact!
i got my cp99 compact from a store downtown i think on queen st. or young st. My buddies friend owns it and he got it for me. they carry a large variety of walther products.ill find out where it is and get back to you if you still are looking.
we will
we will be getting the compact as soon as crosman
gets them...they have none as of yet.
our price will be 109.94
i talked to the crosman rep on friday no work on when yet on either the compact or derert eagle .
he seemed to think a few weeks to a month ,but i think he was guessing...i want the eagle myself!
cheers

click on the Walther Air Pistols - Crosman Targets link (pdf)
cp 99 compact $109.94
I am wondering of the quality of the compact compared to the CP99 since it is about half the price. No rifled barrel since it uses bbs (bbs less accuate than pellets?), no dual action, sightly shorter barrel length. I wonder what else is missing? But i do like how the bbs load up.
Also see they dropped the price of the cp99 to $215 from $230.
hmm they also have the DE there. holy cow 425fps

I just fired off an email asking the guys at lebaron about the cp99 compact and the desert eagle. although I'm sure they've already fielded quite a few emails about the DE, I'm curious as to whether or not they have the compact in nickel finish or not.
I'll post details upon their reply.

OW, right in the eye!
Forget LeBaron-Markham!!
Thanks for the info. I went to LeBaron this morning and the customer service was horrible. At 0930 in the morning, the special room where the guns were housed was literally empty.
I went in,nodded to the 3 salesperson inside and proceeded to look around. There was no greeting whatsovever and they seemed pretty busy so i did not disturb them. There were lots of rifles but no pistols.
Eventually i had to ask if there was any air guns like the Walther and Crosman and one of the salesman with white hair and slightly bald in front ,grunted a reply and showed me the catalogue. It has photocopied pages that were so bad,one can hardly read anything nor see what the guns look like.
Next i asked him if there were any walther or crosman in stock and he said no.I pointed to a few like the walther cp99compact and he said there were none left and i had to order to get them.Later on,he said, the stock is not definite and he does not know when it will come.He was extremely unhelpful and was a real grouch. One more thing,he said that they don't carry ball bearings for the air guns i mentioned but only pellets!Jeeees, why should i buy the cp99compact if it uses BB and i can't get the BB right?C'mon,i ain't stupid as i did my research and some guns take both pellets and BB.When i showed him a gun in the catalogue that takes both,he acted stupid and he knew i had him.He then said,BB are bad for air guns.JEEEEEEES!
I rather take my business elsewhere.By the way, they had a warning:All purchases are final. No refunds nor exchanges. So i doubt i can return the product if it was a manufacturing defect.
I will try some place else like CTire whenever they sell the cp99compact.Anywhere else in Toronto?
Thanks guys and be careful when you go to teh Markham store!
