...22CAL CO2 6 shot pump action repeater...

#1 Post by Parker_101_ »

Here's easily one of my favorite goodies......It's a CR622 ....loads of fun to handle and shoot......great accuracy open sites....never tried it with a scope yet ......22CAL CO2 6 shot pump action repeater.....30 good shots in mid 400's before powerlette begins to drop off .....this thing eats lots of pellets and CO2 cartridges..... with.this rifle I'll have to seriously consider a bulk-fill set-up.....it's just darn hard to put this rifle down once you get started!.....my grandson and I went well over two hours of non-stop plinking today... mostly paper targets with the odd pop-can thrown in just for some added kicks......We had this shoot fest going on sharing only this one rifle...not that we didn't have other to choose from....just, that I didn't want to give it up and neither did he......man he's a competitive bugger sometimes... I gotta love him!....what a hoot!!!....guess I'll have to do his homework with him in the morning....well worth every effort.........

Parker ..... congratulations...... yes you're hook on the CR622.
which bulk are you thinking about the hanging bottle or the ext. tube.
I think I will go with ext. tube.

Are you going to work on the stock and may be a little bit barrel bluing...
have lots of fun ...
Next you want to consider is CR99 & CR400, then you have the complete
set of the 3 systems of CR rifle repeater .22 that use co2 powerlet with mags.
Crosman ever produced.

Thanks guys....
Wish they would make more rifles like this thing....it's solidly built with lots of metal and wood.....sniper I'm not sure what to do about bulking ....I'm definitely open for suggestions on this one.....Oh yea... I just checked one rifle off my list and add two more.... thanks for reminding me about those other goodies sniper .....holy smokes!!! ...this is addicting!!!...beware everyone!!!.....you may find yourself tripping over your collection of goodies if you don't get a grip......hmm...grips! ..I need to make another set of grips for my other 2240....first things first....I'd like to refinish the stock and blueing on this one before I get started on any other projects..... man o' man...this hobby/sport is just pure fun.......

OK ...tried it with a scope.....couldn't resist the temptation......It's all good... but I kind of like it better without this option on it.....

lol, at first glance i thought that was a remington model 870. http://www.remington.com/products/firea ... xpress.asp

if that thing shoots as good as it looks, you've got yourself a damn fine rifle.
not too bad for a 23 year old university student, eh?

thudthumper.... a damn fine rifle it is...thanks.......
accuracy of this gun is amazing.....at 15m it's easily a one holer.....I haven't taken it outdoors yet for those longer shots but I have confidence that it will perform exceptionally well......truly a consistent and straight shooter.... :D
