Hey Aaron,

There is a trick to getting those intermounts tight. Try some silicone sealant between the mounts and barrel. The "temporary" kind will still allow removal if needed. The silicone grips the clean metal and fills spaces between the metal parts. I think Walmart has the stuff for about $4 per tube. A metal breech is better but maybe out of your budget.

I have purchased the Crosman intermounts at two different times, both were from different stores. The first set was designed to clamp mainly the barrel, this set was hard to get sitting still on my 1377, but works well on my Benjamins(w/red dot). The second set was designed to clamp mainly onto the reciever tube, and works very well on the 1377 and 2289(cheap 4x20 scopes). I can't remember if the model #'s were different, but I remember both packages saying that they were for 1377, 2240, 2289, etc. Neither package actually mentioned any Benjamin model #'s.

Where do you even find the Crosman intermounts? I'd like to get a set just to try mounting a scope on my B5-10 but nobody seems to carry them. :?

I drilled tapped and put little lug screws thru my intermounts. the screws grip the pump tube and the mounts are now rock solid. Tap and die kit...$9.99 at Princess auto. Screws 35cents each at rona!
