OT, but might as well ask the Weihrauch Man...

You mentioned you added the barrel weight to your HW95. Where did you get it? I think I may have to use my 30 without sights (old age vision), and the barrel end looks kinda unfinished without the sight. The HW muzzle break is way expensive in Canada IMO, I just want the simple "weight" if possible. Also, is there anything available to "finish" the holes etc. where the front sight is removed? How is it when you get an HW with no sights? No big deal I know, but I like things to look clean if possible. Thanks. Oh yeah, is it possible any of the rubber butts from your HW's would fit on a 30?

The brake on the HW95 is a JM Apex brake that he no longer sells. It is gloss anodized aluminum. Very tight fit. A bit of careful filing is needed on the front sight dovetail. I guess the easiest would be the Beeman universal brake from D&L. A brake makes cocking more comfortable and covers the front sight grooves.
All the other HW butt pads are larger. You just as well to get Pachmayr or similar butt pad for a gun shop or sporting goods store and shape it to fit.

Sorry no factory specs info. During my initial cleaning, I tune it also. From then on, it has been set at various velocities.
I assume HW gives accurate specs.

Congrats ETA,
U just having the right Brand with you.
I have 5 HW's for now and still attempting to obtain one of 100 T,but it is extremally difficult here in Dubai.
This is my favorite brand for many years:mine HW's are:25,30,77k,85 and 90k.

Here is a pic of some of my rifles,4 of the HW's are here

this is my 85 0.22 cal:

and this is my 30 in 0.177 cal:

and my favorite 90k:

My 77k with a new custom main spring and another slight changes deliver me speeds over 950 fps with 7.9 gr pellets...I would love to have it in 0.22 cal but the market in Dubai is so poor...

here you can see my 30 and 90k:

All my HW's are FAC versions...love them all.

ETA I realy like the nickel ones man, looks so ..... teasy...

ETA, I am impressed...I have 3 HW's. The 30s, the 97k, and the 80. I use them all the time, but yours look pristine. If you could only have one which would it be? Id keep my 97k.

voyvodata: since you have done HW30 mods, do you think it would be possible to make a pistol grip for the HW30? Not with the stock I mean, just a pistol grip. A *really* long-barreled "pistol", kinda like a tactical shotgun in looks, but accurate! Thanks.

ETA: What brand of slip-on grip is on your HW40pca, Hogue or Pachmayr?

If Pachmayr is it a Model 2 or Model 3?

Thanks

Thanks voyvodata, looks like you have a nice selection of HWs too. 8) 8) 8)

Thanks canshooter. Of the three HWs you mentioned, my favorite is the HW30s. I shoot them the most. The 97K is nice also, very accurate. However, the under-lever and loading port is not as convenient and fast loading as break barrels. I am not a big fan of high power springers, thats why I don't have a HW80 or HW90 . The HW97K/95K is about at powerful as I want in a springer. The best shooting HW springer has got to be the HW35E. It is like a big luxury sedan.
Most of my airguns are in excellent shape. I don't drag them through bushes. I wish I could though, not much opportunity where I live. :(

GWN, the grip on the HW40pca is a Hogue.

If I only shot up to 25yards or so I would most likely prefer the 30 too, but this year I started shooting FT and love it, as a matter of fact I am using the 97 in an FT contest this saturday.
