BB's and Chrono's?

My buddy brought his chrono today, and we were testing some airguns. Problem was, it wouldn't give me a reading on the drozd. Any ideas why?
Everything else chronied, from my CP99 to my crossbow, but not the BB's........and thats the one gun I REALLY wanted a reading on.

my chrony worked for my Daisy Buck, maybe its the lighting
my airguns, Crosman Quest 500, Gamo Delta, Daisy Buck, and Diana Mod 24!
