Weihrauch HW95 Opinions

#1 Post by grumppee »

I'm in the market for a new springer. I had my heart set on a BSA Supersport for sometime but I'm seriously considering purchasing a HW95 non-pal.

If anyone has opinions on the HW95 I'd love to hear them before I "pull the trigger" so to speak. This extra $$$ I've been saving for a serious springer for the past few months is burning a hole in my pocket. :D

Thanks.

Beeman company calls this rifle the Beeman R9. You can do a web search for Weihrauch HW95 or Beeman R9 and get loads of information on this rifle. It's a very popular model.

Can't go wrong with a HW95/R9. It is a great all purpose springer and it does everything well and easy to handle; that is why it is so popular.
If civilization collapse and you can only have one airgun, the HW95/R9 in .22cal would be it.

Thanks Todd, and ETA. I appreciate the responses.

I am going ahead with a HW50S, one piece scope mount and a Bushnell scope. Nothing fancy but this way my hard earned cash will go a little further.

Thanks again.
