I was @ lebaron's last night and they mentioned the deals are going to be had @ the sportman show - sometime mid march.

Just passing along info.

What are the details of the Desert Eagle you guys are talking about? Do you have a link? I've only seen an Airsoft version. Thanks. Airmad

The Desert Eagle they're talking about is the Umarex version. It's a blow-back pellet pistol. For more info visit this link:

The trigger on that DEagle is done wrong, and something tells me it will be much smaller than the real thing. My Daisy Powerline Desert Eagle on the other hand has a very nicely copied trigger ;) But the body is plastic :(

Cheers!

LeBaron sale

#10 Post by Robak »

Good to hear that the hunting dept doesn't have a sale. I won't have to go there and look at the pathetic sad faces of the guys behind the counter.
Too bad that they are not learning from the guys in fishing dept who actually learned to smile and greet customers.
Someone give these guys a raise or fire them :(

Am I correct in saying that you are talking about the staff at the Mississauga location, right? I have been to both the Mississauga and Markham locations and I have to say I am not happy with the staff members at the Mississauga Gun Shop. At the Markham location, those guys are pretty cool.... One fellow there with a tattoo on his arm seems to know his stuff about airguns. Got into a long conversation about airguns for close to an hour. Cell phone was going off like crazy... wife calling to see where I was. Yah, those guys are ok.

Who knows, could be the way the company Lebaron treats their employees...

Take care,

It is the Missisauga store :) I see I'm not the only one. The only reason why I still shop there is Jack in fishing, at least he tries to help.
Last year my buddy bought me a Bushnell scope for my birthday, not the right one as it wasn't AO and air gun rated.I took it back to upgrade it(new in box not touched) they said "you absolutely need a receipt" I understood as I work in retail as well. Took me a few days to get a hold of my friend, got the receipt and went back to the store to upgrade the scope(from an $80 one to a $200 one). The jarhead in hunting says "you are 3 days over our return/exchange policy and that was my customer experience at LeBaron :)
Anyways, I'll continue to shop there simply because the prices on the little stuff (lures, line etc) are awesome.
So Ed Holton, if you are listening...in real retail we say "if you can't change your people, you should change your people"

That's my rant of the day :)

Hold on...wait a second here....why are you guys ragging on Ed??? He's here to tell you guys about specials and what LeBaron has to offer and you guys turn around and slam him and his store!!! What a nice welcome you guys have to offer!!!!

If you guys are so upset about...have you considered writing to the management of Lebaron in Montreal??? Believe me....they care.

Exactly... we are not blasting Edholton.... I appoligize if it sounded that way but the only thing Robak and I agreed on was to say is there is a difference in the Gun Shop staff at Lebaron when comparing the Markham store to the Mississauga store. Ed who is at the Markham store does have a good team of sales people that are friendly and helpful. But I just find the Mississauga team different... not too polite.

Now you all could say "stop shopping at the Mississauga store" and that does make sense. However, and could be because of the good team at Markham, I find the Mississauga store has more airguns in stock than the Markham location. Again, because of the staff at Markham, possibly more people shop there and so products are sold quicker.

To Edholton... :supz:

Take care,
